Wanbo T2 Max New Projector Review

A Closer Look

I haven’t tested the previous model; therefore, I cannot make any comparisons. Even so, before the review, I should explain some terms, such as ANSI Lumens. It is a standard measurement of projector brightness, which determines how bright the image will appear on the screen. This measurement is determined by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), which specifies the brightness level of a projector based on a specific test pattern.

The ANSI lumen rating is the standard measurement because of its accuracy and reliability. It is also the most common way to compare different projectors when determining which is best for your needs. This method has been called the gold standard for measuring the brightness of a projector.

The resolution refers to the maximum number of pixels a projector can display. The ideal resolution depends on your screen size. The higher the resolution, the better the image will be. Nevertheless, you should not invest in a projector with less than 1080p HD resolution as this projector offers. The contrast ratio measures the difference between white and black and contributes to the projected images’ colors. The zoom and lens ratio defines the range of screen sizes the projector is compatible with.

There are various types of projector technologies. The Wanbo T2 Max New has a liquid crystal display (LCD). LCD projectors are in the middle among the DLP and LCoS ones. The LCD projectors are not as bright as DLP but offer a darker black and have lower lag.

The projector’s compact size, lightweight, and sleek design make it ideal for any place, with easy storage and transportation.

There is only one button on the top side of the device: Power On/Off. The input-output ports are at the rear, including a 3.5 mm audio jack to insert headphones.

I discovered a tripod or ceiling mount under the projector’s body.

With the included remote control, you can browse through the projector’s menu, and if you have a connected device, you may use it to manage the projection. Once it connects to a device, there is an added menu for extra adjustments. The Wanbo T2 Max New has 20.000 hours of machine testing, HDR10 Decoding, 2 x 3watt speakers with HiFi sound quality, and a bass frequency of 60HZ. Five layers of optical lenses ensure a clear image and a vivid depiction of the HD image’s 16 million colors and contrast. If you wish to use it outdoors, ensure it’s not under rain even though it is IPX5 tested since it is only dust resistant; this is up to a point since it has grilles both at the front and rear. The brand mentions a low noise of 35dB, which is low, and it won’t bother you while utilizing it due to the Vortex-noise reduction addition.
