VEGER Power Banks Overview – From 5,000 to 56,000mAh

Almost everything we use nowdays requires power, and since we don’t always have access to a socket, power banks are for the save. VEGER has a tradition in designing and manufacturing of power charging solutions, including power banks. In today’s article we will look at the MagMulti,  the Tank Boost and the PlugOn power banks.

Power charging solutions, including power banks, are everywhere around us nowadays. VEGER is into this market since 2013, and it sent us several products so far. In today’s article, we will look at the MagMulti,  the Tank Boost, and the PlugOn power banks.

The first test of all power banks was on our journey to Taipei for Computex. The power banks, except for the Tank Boost, were easy to carry around. A useful piece of information, if you carry a power bank, it must not exceed 27,000 mAh or 100 Watt Hours. Otherwise, you won’t be able to travel by airplane with it. The security will confiscate it. This is what happened to us in Taipei’s international airport. It fully charges in 1.5 hours via the Type-C 9V-2A input port, and an upgraded cable is included.

VEGER Mini Portable

For iPhone and AirPods, 5000mAh 20W PD Battery Pack, Cordless Portable External Backup Charger for iPhone 13, 12, 11, 8, 7, XR, XS Max, and Pro Max.

The VEGER Mini Portable Charger for iPhone and AirPods is compact with only 93 grams weight and dimensions 77.2 x 35.0 x 24.7mm (3.03″ x 1.38″ x 0.97″). Once you plug it in, it is embedded into your phone; thus, you can use it without hassle. It has a built-in upgraded lightning connector, and because it protrudes from the power bank’s body, there is no need to remove the phone’s case. You plug it into your iPhone to charge it. It also has a cap to protect the plug when not in use. This small power bank has a high capacity of 5000 mAh with a 20W power supply that can charge an iPhone 13 up to 60% in 30 minutes.

While recharging the power bank, it can simultaneously charge your iPhone. Press and hold the wake button for 2 seconds to activate this charging mode providing charging for AirPods. It is furthermore equipped with a multi-protection security system.

Its price is set at $27.

With USB Type-C Charger Output: This version is compatible with every Android phone having a Type-C socket. It has a built-in type-C connector that sticks out from the power bank’s body, so removing the phone’s case is unnecessary. You connect it to your smartphone, and it starts charging. It also has a cap to protect the plug when not in use. The USB C input supports QC or PD fast charging protocol. The USB C output supports PD fast charging protocol, QC3.0, FCP, MTK PE1.1/2.0, AFC, etc., and can provide up to 22.5W. Full recharge for the power bank takes around 1.5 hours at 9V-2A via USB C input or USB C plug.

It has a 5000mAh (3.7V battery) capacity, dimensions 77.2*35.0*24.7mm (3.03”x1.38”x0.97″), and its weight is 93g. It goes easily in a bag or pocket. It supports about 0.8~1.2 charges for an Android phone, depending on its battery capacity.

While charging the power bank, you can also charge your smartphone simultaneously. By pressing and holding the wake button for 2 seconds, you can activate this function, providing optimal charging for gadgets as well. It is equipped with a multi-protection security system. And an upgraded cable is included.

Veger MagMulti Wireless Power Bank 10000mAh

This power bank can charge four devices simultaneously. It is compatible with MagSafe and phone case, less than 5mm in thickness. It is specially designed for iPhone 12/13/14 series and can charge your AirPods and Apple Watch. This is a handy power bank, and we used it several times on our trip to Taipei. We have Apple Watches and iPhones, and we can simultaneously charge all our devices with one power bank.

With a 20W PD Lightning In and Type-C In/Out port, the MagMulti support PPS, PD/QC3.0, and USB QC 3.0 output port can charge a phone or a gadget relatively quickly. The wireless output for phones and AirPods supports 5W, 7.5W(for iPhone),10W, and 15W Max wireless fast charging. The Apple watch output is 2.5W.

Wireless outputs are compatible with Apple Watch 7/6/5/4/3/2/SE; Air Pods 2/3/Pro/Pro 2;  iPhone 14/14Plus/14Pro/14ProMax/13 Mini/13/13 Pro/13 Pro Max/12 Mini/12/12 Pro/12 Pro Max/iPhone 11/X/8 series and other Qi-enabled devices. It’s also compatible with most of the devices in the market, like WTS, smartwatches, and smartphones, when using Type-C or USB A outputs.

Built-in intelligent safeguards protect the charging devices from Over Current, Over Voltage, Short-Circuit, Over Heats, and Over Charging, making them safer to use. Press and hold the wake button for 2 seconds to activate the Trickle-Charging function for small gadgets.

Tank Boost 56000mAh 130W Camping Power Bank for Laptop

With one charge of several hours, the Tank Boost lasts for a long time of use. It always depends on its use. It can charge five devices simultaneously at the same time. Its capacity is 56000 mAh, it weighs about 1.21 kg and it has a size of 40,38 x 19,98 x 13,86 cm (15.90 x 7.87 x 5.46 inches). Its maximum total output power is 130W, and it supports up to 60W input. Equipped with 2 PD Type-C ports (100W + 30W) can provide enough power to quickly charge a 16-inch MacBook Pro with power consumption and an iPad Pro at full speed. Type-C in/out also supports 60W fast charging.

It has five output ports (3x USB A, 2x Type-C) and two input ports (1x Type-C, 1x Lightning). It is compatible with various devices, such as watches, smartphones, cameras, drones, laptops, etc.

There is an embedded large digital LED display that displays the remaining power. For various occasions, an integrated flashlight supports three modes (Low/High/SOS).

Built-in smart fuses protect your devices from over current, over voltage, short circuit, overheating, and over charging.

Its price is $200, which seems high, but it is fully justified for such a gigantic power bank. Note you cannot take this power bank with you on most flights!

Epilogue

In this article, we quickly looked at several power banks from VEGER. I know you would love to see a fully detailed review with measurements, part analysis, and other interesting stuff, but this period is crazy for us, and we cannot devote the required time. Nonetheless, we tried all power banks included in this article, and we can assure you that they worked pretty well on all occasions, saving us from depleted batteries. Especially the Mini Portable power bank, which can be hooked directly to your phone, allowing its use without any hassle, can be a lifesaver, and its cost is minimal.

Finally, I cannot stress enough that if you want to take your power bank on a flight, it must not exceed 27,000 mAh or 100 Watt Hours else the airport’s security will confiscate it. This happened to us in Taipei’s airport, where we lost a VEGER Tank Boost, and I am still thinking about it!
