Montech King 95 Pro Case Review: Thermal & Noise Damping/Output Evaluation

Assembly Procedure

The dual chamber design of the King 95 offers a great building experience and a wide range of customization options that will fit most user needs. The building process was straightforward. The motherboard dropped directly onto the standoffs, the AIO was screwed in place, the GPU was secured on the chassis, and lastly, all of the cables were routed and managed.

As expected, there is lots of space on both sides of the chassis. It offers support for lengthy GPUs and up to two radiators, a 360mm one on top and a 280mm one on the side. Given the separate chambers, almost all PSUs will fit comfortably, while it also fits air coolers up to 175mm in height. The additional panels provide more cooling and storage mounting options.

Cable management is one of the strengths of this form factor. Pre-mounted Velcro straps hold everything in place; additional ones are provided in the bundle.

The included fan hub is handy and conveniently placed. The AIO pump was connected to the motherboard, and the rest of the fans and their ARGB connectors were connected to the hub. This streamlined the cable management, resulting in a single PWM and ARGB connector plugged into the motherboard. A potential downside is the lack of individual fan control if desired.

The PSU sits nicely on the rubber-lined support, and the cables were easily and quickly routed through the chassis.
