Super Flower released its a new Leadex Titanium 1600 unit, providing it with ATX v3.0 compatibility, meaning that it can deliver up to 3200W for small periods, without shutting down. This is an updated version of the legendary Leadex Titanium platform, used in the bullet-proof EVGA SuperNOVA 1600 T2 units, which proved its reliability during the mining era.
The Super Flower Leadex Titanium ATX v3.0 is included in my best ATX v3.0 & PCIe 5.0 PSU picks article.
The Super Flower Leadex platform was used in the legendary EVGA T2/P2/G2 1600 units, which dominated the mining era since they were bulletproof regardless of the operating conditions. Many years have passed, and Super Flower had to develop a successor of this platform with ATX v3.0 and PCIe 5.0 compatibility. The Leadex Titanium 1600, as its title denotes, has Titanium efficiency (at 115V) and, if required, can handle up to 3200W of power spikes. Currently, no GPU has such high power spikes, and I hope we won’t see any soon because it will be a huge step backward.
Typically, this PSU should come with a pair of 12VHPWR connectors, but Super Flower decided only to offer a single one. Nevertheless, at the moment, there is no 12VHPWR (or 12V-6×2) socket on its modular panel, so it is easy to offer an additional one using a pair of 8-pin sockets. Some are skeptical about the absence of 12+4 pin sockets on some ATX v3.0 PSUs, but this is fine from the moment the same power amount, or even higher, along with the sense signals, can pass from 2x 8-pin sockets, which don’t have the issues that the 12VHPWR cables if they are bent at an extreme degree. What matters is to have a 12VHPWR (or a 12V-6×2) connector on the GPU’s side, which gets power from a sufficient source, either a 12+4 pin or a pair of 8-pin sockets. Another thing that might look strange in this unit is that instead of a 12+4 pin, we have a 12+2 pin. From the moment two of the not required sense pins are not used and won’t be utilized in the future by PSUs that lack the corresponding circuits, there is no need to have them.
Now that I have covered the basic questions you might have, I can proceed to the main review. If you still have questions, please leave them in the comments section or join our Discord server to discuss them in real-time.

Super Flower Leadex Titanium ATX v3.0 1600W PSU
I cannot find a Super Flower Leadex Titanium 1600W PSU that also denotes it as ATX v3.0 compatible.
I’ve seen ones with a box exactly as you depict in this review (which also does not say ATX v3.0 on it anywhere), with everything the same except without the 600W PCIe 5.0 / Gen 5 12VHPWR PSU Cable. I have seen that cable available separately however and it states it is compatible with the Leadex 1600W Titanium.
I think the only Super Flower PSU’s I’ve seen that denote ATX v3.0 on them are the Leadex VII XG’s.
So I am a bit confused. Can you clarify the ATX v3.0 compatibility of this unit?
Thank you for all your testing and posting it for us to review!
I would also be interested to know more about this aspect.
The Super Flower Leadex Titanium ATX v3.0 or ATX v3.1 1600W PSU models are practically non-existent anywhere except on newegg in america which has a 3.0 model.
Great review as always, thank you aris.
I wonder what happened to the digital psu platform that Superflower showed way back during Computex 2015, it was never mentioned again outside of that event.
They didn’t proceed with it.
