The Deepcool PQ850G is compatible with the ATX v3.1 and PCIe CEM 5.1 standards. It is equipped with a 12V-2×6 cable which has its connector set at 600W max power, which is overkill for a 850W unit.

The Deepcool recently released the PQ-G line, and I have already reviewed the 1200W and 1000W models. In this review I will look at the 850W unit. The PQ-G line will be first available in the Chinese market, with the rest of the markets following soon. All PQ-G members use Helly platforms. This is a fully modular power supply with compact dimensions, thanks to its 140mm depth, and it is equipped with a 12V-2×6 cable that can deliver up to 600W of power, supporting all high-end graphics cards. AMD still hasn’t jumped on the 12V-2×6 connector wagon. AMD is probably waiting for when it will be mature enough to do so. At the same time, NVIDIA supported it from the start, dealing with several problems during its development.
