The 12V rail is conservatively set, but having the same triggering point under cold and hot conditions is incorrect. Thankfully, this is not the case for over power protection, where the triggering point is notably lower at high temperatures. Moreover, the minor rails have been correctly set over current points. Finally, all other essential protection features are present and work well.

  1. Hi, confused on the review. In the first page it alludes to the 1250W version and also says it’s Platinum efficiency but specs and picture shows Gold.

If its 1050W, ATX 3.0 and Platinum, it would be the perfect one for me so unsure on the details provided. Thanks.

  2. It is Platinum in Cybenetics, while Gold in 80 PLUS. Cybenetics measures efficiency using a different approach than 80 PLUS, taking thousands of measurements instead of only 3-4.

So the 1050 is Cybenetics Platinum, while the 1250 is Cybenetics Gold.
