The EK Loop Fan FPT 140 D-RGB has a high price on Amazon, but on EKWB’s online store, you can find it at 26 dollars, which is a reasonable price given its features and specs: daisy-chain option, a fluid dynamic bearing, up to 2200 RPM speed, and ARGB lighting. According to EKWB, the square shape of the fan frame provides optimal performance in either pull or push regime without hydraulic losses.

EKWB mentions that the bearing’s durability is 60,000 hours at 25℃, which is decent for an FDB fan. Like in the 120mm model, the width is slightly larger than the typical at 27mm, and the cable length is only 100mm to offer better cable management if you daisy-chain several fans together. An extender cable with sufficient length (500mm) is provided. The fan receives power through a 4-pin PWM connector, and a 3-pin addressable 5V D-RGB connector is used for the LED lighting. All the signal and power wiring for PWM and D-RGB run on a single cable and connector, which then utilizes a single cable to connect to the power source. Needless to say, this is highly convenient.
