Cooler Master MF120 HALO² Fan Review – Not What I Expected!

Box, Contents & Bundle

The box features vivid colors and provides a good look at the product through the photo on the front side, with the LED lighting in operation. Typically, more details about the product can be found on the backside.

The bundle includes the following:

  • Fan screws (4x)
  • An interconnection for ARGB connectors
  • A plastic piece to keep ARGB connections in place

The build quality is decent, and the design looks nice, with the four edges protruding from the frame. According to CM, this design allows for larger fan blades, which provide higher performance. While looking at the backside of the fan, I noticed that the power and ARGB wires, along with the plastic bridge, take up a notable area, thus preventing airflow. It would be better if the cables for ARGB were mounted on the fan’s frame and not on its center so as not to block airflow.

  1. Just wondering if the power consumption figures also include led lighting? Even without lighting consumption figures are impressive, just wondering how much additional power those leds suck.
