Corsair Frame 4500X Chassis Review

The Frame 4500X chassis is the 2025 update the 4000 series deserved, with modern yet classic looks and the Corsair-level attention to detail we like. Has Corsair found the recipe for success?

Earlier this year, during Computex, Corsair unveiled three new chassis: the Air 5400, which we recently reviewed, the Frame 5000D, and the Frame 4500X, which we are reviewing today. The 4500X is Corsair’s take on the fishbowl-style chassis, with very high-quality wrap-around glass equivalent to that of the Air 5400 and high-quality materials used throughout.

Stylistically, it rivals the HAVN 420 in terms of the glass and the mechanism, but it also borrows elements from Hyte’s design language, for example, on the top and back, where you’ll find the air vents. What Corsair has done excellently, however, is to design a product with its own identity.

The wrap-around glass makes building even easier, as do features like the InfiniRail system, all removable panels and parts, and the iCue system if you opt for it.

What remains to be seen is whether all these features are worth the premium price tag. The Frame 4500X is offered in either black or white. You can also choose between the iCue system, which includes a hub and three iCue fans at $259.99, or the RS-R version, which comes with three RS 120mm Reverse PWM fans at $189.99.
