Build Experience
Starting with the PSU, we just used the captive thumbscrews to install it. Next, with the chassis wide open, we installed the motherboard, CPU, cooler, and RAM. There was no need to use the removable motherboard tray feature here. To install the GPU, we had to remove the rear panel to align it with the chassis tabs properly. Thanks to the removable expansion slots, this was feasible. Take this issue with a grain of salt, because this card has been used so many times on so many different chassis that its bracket may have gotten warped over time.
Cable management behind the motherboard tray is made very easy by the pre-installed Vlecro straps. The fused front panel connector is a much-appreciated feature. Other than that, we have the standard 19-pin USB 3.0 header, the HD audio connector, and the Type-E connector for the front USB Type-C port.
The finished system looks right at home inside the 4500X, if not in size, then definitely in color. It’s clear that this chassis is suitable for large GPU builds and plenty of cooling equipment, whether that’s fans, radiators, or a simple AIO. With the tempered glass panel installed, the system looks clean and sharp. Surface finishes significantly affect how the product feels in terms of quality.
ARGB Lighting and Aesthetics
When in operation, the fans become a centerpiece of the system. The dark-tinted glass gives the interior a uniform, dark appearance. In the photos we have taken, you can also see how the light is projected onto the curved edge of the tempered glass, which helps you understand why we’re excited about the glass’s quality.
Turn the lights off, and the fans will stand out even more. You really can’t go wrong, style-wise, with the 4500X.
