For extreme builds where two chambers just don’t cut it, the Air 5400 is here to take over. Three chambers. Do you really need more?
The Air 5400 introduces a new Corsair layout style, aptly called the triple-chamber design. What sets it apart from the dual-chamber designs we’ve seen before is its ability to mount a radiator at the front, with air exiting out the side, completely isolated from the components in the other two chambers. This concept emerges as a solution for cooling today’s increasingly power-hungry systems.
The layout may feel a bit restrictive to some, but that’s intentional. It’s optimized for specific configurations rather than trying to do everything at once. The design itself is striking, featuring two curved glass panels that sweep from the rear to the midpoint of the front panel. Corsair has gone all-in on this chassis, loading it with accessories and customization options.
It’s a statement piece, but one that doesn’t forget it’s also a tool. Everything, from the hinge system to the magnetic covers and the inclusion of an entire third chamber, feels like the result of a long internal debate that ended with, “Why not both?” Starting at $230, it’s not cheap, but Corsair clearly aims to justify the premium through precision engineering and a refined build experience.
You can choose between black or white variants, either with the iCUE system and compatible fans or with a set of three 4-pin PWM fans without a hub.
