The OCP triggering points are set below 120% on all primary rails, while the over power protection’s triggering point is below 122% under cold and hot conditions. Chicony preferred a conservative way for this unit’s protection features. Moreover, OTP looks low, but we encountered no problems during testing.

    Got this psu on prime day discounted w/ a $50 rebate based on your ATX 3.0 tier list. Was hesitant to jump the gun since there was no cybernetics report or in-depth reviews on the 850W at the time.
