Corsair K65 Plus Wireless Keyboard Review

The Corsair K65 Plus is a high-quality wireless gaming keyboard, with a high asking price, so it doesn’t address the average user, but enthusiasts whgo need a compact, tenkeyless keyboard, for their gaming (and not only) sessions. Personally I find it equally pleasing while using it for writting, which is the original purpose of every keyboard.

Corsair has developed and manufactured peripherals and PC components for gamers for over 30 years since it was founded in January 1994. It leads the scene regarding trends and has built an indisputable name over the years. Since the brand aims to be on top, it has acquired several companies that will enforce its stability in the market, such as Elgato, Origin, Scuf, Gamer Sensei, and the latest addition, Drop. The company’s latest keyboard is the Corsair K65 Plus Wireless Gaming Keyboard, which I will present in this review. A mechanical keyboard uses mechanical switches instead of membrane ones. This means each key has a switch underneath, which is responsible for registering key presses. The difference with a regular keyboard is that mechanical ones can use specific key switches that provide different levels of resistance and feedback, leading to a better typing experience.

On the other hand, regular keyboards use rubber domes (membrane switches) that collapse under pressure, meaning that the keys are not separate moving parts but act as a pressure pad, which can result in a less responsive typing experience. If you’re looking for a keyboard that will provide a more enjoyable typing experience, a mechanical keyboard with switches matching your needs is the way to go.
