Overall Performance
To calculate each cooler’s overall performance, I take into account three factors, the CPU’s temperature, wattage, and frequency, by using the following equation:
(Wattage / Temperature) x Frequency
Each chart shows the cooler under test as 100% and every other product’s performance as relative to it.
Relative performance is almost identical to the previous model’s. Performance is high, but the Noctua NH-D15 doesn’t feel threatened.
Performance Per Price
I used the same price tags for the Assassin coolers since the previous model is no longer available, so all results are identical.
