DeepCool Assassin IV Review – Can it beat the Noctua NH-D15?

The DeepCool Assassin IV has a unique exterior design, which will probably divide opinions. Performance wise is among the best air cooling solutions available on today’s market, and the comparison with the Assassin III will be interesting.

The DeepCool Assassin IV is the predecessor of the legendary Assassin III, among the best air-coolers, so it has a heavy legacy to support. The exterior design has changed vastly, adopting an all-black scheme, with the only exception of DeepCool’s logo on the top side. The double tower design is hidden well, and the black color also hides, partially at least, the cooler’s huge dimensions. Seven heatpipes and 1575g of weight ensure that your CPU will have sufficient cooling unless you have a power beast installed, like the Intel 13900K, with PL1 and PL2 set at high power.

Needless to say (but I will say it anyway), this cooler has a huge footprint, so you must ensure it will fit in your chassis before buying it.
