Stock Fans Speed
The new fans spin at up to 2100 RPM, which is fast for chassis fans.
Stock Fans Noise Output – LAeq/LZeq
At full speed, the fans reach 45 dBA. Keep in mind this is with all six fans running at maximum speed. Reducing the speed to 60% PWM brings the noise down to a more reasonable 35 dBA.
Noise Output All Frequencies – LAeq/LZeq
Noise Damping Performance All Frequencies – LAeq/LZeq
Like most chassis, this one struggles at low frequencies, where it tends to act as an amplifier. At 1 kHz and above, however, the noise-damping performance is very good.
Noise Damping Performance Chirp/Pink Noise – LAeq/LZeq
Pink-noise and chirp-noise damping performance is also good.
Noise Output Results – GPU
GPU noise output falls within the typical range, with a slight increase observed up to 60-70% PWM.
