Gamemax N90 Chassis Review

Gamemax is showing up with an unexpectedly refreshed chassis in the form of the N90, an iteration on the N80 that brings meaningful improvements. But the real question is: does it hold its place in the market?

Building on the foundation of the N80 we reviewed early this year, the N90 keeps a familiar footprint but arrives with a refreshed identity. This new model maintains the distinctive elevated main chamber, wrap-around curved glass, and a fully separated lower compartment, an unusual dual-chamber layout that not only separates thermals but also creates a unique silhouette for the case. The most eye-catching addition is the new dot-matrix LED display embedded in the side panel, which displays system information or stylized visuals through Gamemax’s dedicated software.

Gamemax has made noticeable strides in overall quality this generation as well. The build materials feel more robust, and the fit and finish have tightened significantly. This time, the company uses standard PWM connectors instead of proprietary solutions, making integration with aftermarket hardware significantly easier. The fans themselves are redesigned with a more striking aesthetic, continuing the N90’s theme of merging performance with visual flair.

All of this comes at a price that clearly places the N90 in the premium bracket: $189.99 for the black model and $194.99 for the white. That puts it up against heavy hitters from Corsair, Lian Li, and other brands with a fairly established following. Let’s dive in and take a closer look at what this ambitious chassis brings to the table.
