The Micronics Wizmax G 850W uses a platform provided by Great Wall, one of the largest PSU OEMs especially for server power supplies. It offers high efficiency and performance. Read the review to get more details.
The Micronics Wizmax G 850W is (or will be) included in my best ATX v3.x & PCIe 5.x PSU picks article.
The Micronics Wizmag G line comprises three models with capacities ranging from 850W to 1200W. All are based on a platform provided by the Chinese OEM Great Wall. For those of you who are not familiar with this OEM, it is behind the Corsair SFX PSUs, which dominate the respective category. Following the trend, the Wizmag G units are fully modular, promising high performance and low noise output, thanks to their advanced platform. We will confirm (or not) this throughout this review.
The Micronics Wizmax G 850W is Platinum certified by Cybenetics (but the brand decided to downgrade this badge to Gold), and it also has an ATX v3.1 compliance pass from the same certification agency. At the time of the review, I found the Micronics Wizmax G 850W on AliExpress for US$135.66, a decent price considering its specifications.
