After completing TT’s Toughpower GF A3 line reviews, it is time to deal with the Toughpower PF3 models. The OEM remains the same, HKC, and the PF3 is above the GF A3 in TT’s portfolio of products in terms of efficiency. This means that the price tags are increased. The Toughpower PF3 1200W I will review today costs 220 dollars, while the GF A3 1200W costs $180. A 40-dollar price difference between these two products is notable, and I will check if it is justified, especially during part analysis.
The PF3 1200 utilizes a fully modular cable design, and because of its compact dimensions, with a 1 40mm depth, it cannot accommodate a fan larger than 120mm. To increase its reliability and keep noise output, TT used an FDB fan driven by an aggressive speed profile; thus, the average noise output is high, Cybenetics Standard (40-45 dB[A]).
