Average Noise
The bad news here, the average noise output is high, notably higher than the non-RGB GF3 model.
Fan Noise & Speed Maps @ 28-32 °C
The semi-passive mode doesn’t last long, and for some periods, the fan has to spin at higher speeds, at light loads, to remove heat. The 30 dBA mark is passed with more than 330W, and the PSU’s fan goes over 35 dBA once the load exceeds 420W. Finally, with more than 530W, noise is within the 40-45 dBA range.
