The unit operates without its fan spinning at up to 590W loads at 12V, with minimal load on the minor rails, under normal operating temperatures. With a full load on the minor rails, the fan starts to spin at around 500W load at 12V. The 30 dBA mark is passed at 800W at 12V, and with more than 950W on the same rail, the PSU enters the 40-45 dBA zone. Lastly, with 1100W and higher loads at 12V, noise exceeds 45 dBA.
