Box & Bundle
The box is overloaded with graphics and badges, with the model’s number highlighted in large fonts. On the package’s rear side, you will find some photos of the PSU’s internals and a close photo of the 12VHPWR socket, which should soon be replaced by a 12V-2×6 which is safer.

The exterior design looks appealing, and the fan grille has large enough perforations to allow good airflow. The modular panel hosts thirteen sockets, with one for connecting the PSU to the system’s mainboard to communicate with the MasterPlus software. Through this app, you can monitor power, voltages, and fan speed, but you cannot control anything but fan speed. There are four fan-speed preset profiles: silent, standard, gaming, and overclock, plus a custom fan curve.

Two EPS connectors on dedicated cables, three PCIe 6+2 pin connectors on the same amount of cables, a single 12VHPWR set at 450W, twelve SATA, and four 4-pin Molex connectors. The number of SATA and 4-pin Molex connectors is adequate, but the distance between all peripheral connectors is low at 120mm. Lastly, the ATX and EPS cables are long enough.
Thanks. How does it compare to Cooler Master V850 Gold V2? can we please have a review?

The V850i belongs to a higher category.
Thanks Aris. Been waiting for this.
Got this psu on prime day discounted w/ a $50 rebate based on your ATX 3.0 tier list. Was hesitant to jump the gun since there was no cybernetics report or in-depth reviews on the 850W at the time.
Relieved to see your positive endorsement of the OEM. 😅
