The Wanbo T2 Max that we review is the upgraded model, hence the word “New” in the title. This is an entry-level projector, costing 260 dollar and addressing users that don’t want to empty their wallets, but still want a decent HD projector.

To begin with, I got confused by how many WANBO projectors are out there! Only once I found the official site of this brand the picture became clear. To explain how confused things are, even under the official name of Shenzhen Wanbo Technology Co Ltd, I came across another company that produces parking sensors. Additionally, I even found various prices regarding the same device at Geekbuying.com. Crazy! My best guess is that many factories in China produce similar products, which is why prices vary. But if you want full support, including firmware updates, you better buy the “original” product.
The company’s official website is szwanbo.cn, where all the projectors are displayed. I liked the brand’s motto; You Happy, I Happy! Wanbo Technology is a Chinese brand founded in 2016 that develops DLP and single LCD projectors and undertakes projector services. I should note that I received the projector from another Chinese company, Geekbuying.com, a worldwide e-selling platform created in 2012.
