Box, Contents, Bundle
The box doesn’t have fancy graphics, but its primary function is to protect the product, which it does well.
The bundle includes the following:
- Intel brackets
- AMD brackets
- Intel backplate
- Mounting hardware
- PWM Splitter cable
- Thermal paste tube
- Ocypus logo
- User’s manual
The bundle is rich enough, including a thermal grease tube and PWM splitter, among others.
The cooler follows a dual-tower design, which is the most effective for air coolers. Despite using this design, its footprint is not as large as other dual-tower coolers because of the smaller towers, which are almost entirely covered by the 120mm fans. The build quality is nice, and the aesthetic result is good.
The cooler is 158mm tall, so most normal chassis will accommodate it without issues. With both fans installed, its depth and width are 136mm and 127mm, respectively. Given the dual-tower design, the cooler’s dimensions are pretty compact.
The six heatpipes run through the cooler’s base to remove the heat.
The cooler’s base. Make sure to remove the sticker before you install it on the CPU socket!
The top cover is perforated to help in heat dissipation.
Ocypus calls the fin array design “family.” According to its design team, it reduces wind resistance, minimizes noise, and enhances heat dissipation. This remains to be seen during the test sessions. In my eyes, this design reminds me of Deepcool’s coolers.

The pair of fans is of good quality, especially considering the cooler’s price. I will soon evaluate them, and you will be able to check their performance in the Cybenetics fan database.
