Honor Power Arrives with 8,000mAh Battery Beast, Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, and a Bold Flex on Apple

Honor is taking power literally — and maybe personally — with its latest launch, the Honor Power, a phone that shatters battery norms with an eye-popping 8,000mAh pack. For context? That’s more capacity than the new iPad Air 11 (2025). Yes, really.

Measuring just under 8mm thick, this sleek battery monster squeezes out 821Wh/L of power density thanks to a high-silicon cell, offering up to 25 hours of video streaming, 23 hours on TikTok, or a solid 14 hours of gaming. The Power supports *66W fast charging, which sounds great, but is it enough for this kind of battery? Time will tell, but Honor cheekily claims just 2% juice is enough for 60 minutes of calls or scanning 100 WeChat codes.

Inside, the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 handles the heavy lifting, backed by up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The 6.78” OLED display (1,224 x 2,700px) offers flagship-tier visuals with 120Hz refresh10-bit colors, and a blinding 4,000-nit peak brightness with ultra-high-frequency PWM dimming.

Camera-wise, things get more modest: a 50MP main shooter with OIS, a 5MP ultra-wide (ouch), and a 16MP selfie cam limited to 1080p video. However, connectivity shines with the Honor C1+ RF chip, BeiDou triple-frequency GPS, dual SIM, Bluetooth 5.3 with LDAC/aptX HD, and NFC.

Starting at just CNY 1,700 (≈$235) during the launch promo, the Honor Power could become the battery king for budget-conscious power users, even if the camera specs feel a generation behind. It goes on sale in China on April 18.
