Ocypus Iota A62 CPU Cooler Review – A New Player In The Market!

Epilogue

The Ocypus Iota A62, priced at $66, won’t break the bank. It has nice aesthetics, compact enough dimensions for a dual-tower cooler, and a matrix digital display, a unique feature in the cooling category. There is no ARGB lighting, but I can live with that. Its USB cable should be longer to allow for better and “invincible” routing, and its performance on my AMD system was disappointing. Given the high performance of the Intel system, I expected a lot from the lower-TDP AMD system, but this wasn’t the case. This is something that I cannot explain fully. Most likely, its AMD mounting system needs improvements. If you have an Intel socket, the Iota A62 is ideal, but if you have an AMD system or plan to build one, it would be better to avoid it and get something else. Thermalright’s coolers offer unbeatable performance per price ratios, and if you want to go to an AIO, you should look at Arctic’s offerings, which also provide a lot for your money.

Why should I use the offset mounting barsand what can I expect? : Noctua Knowledge Centre

As you can see in the left photo above, the Ocypus cooler doesn’t have an offset mounting for the AMD socket. Still, given the high performance of the Intel system, its performance should be better on the AMD socket.
