The Corsair ML 120 PRO RGB utilizes magnetic bearings, which are the best in terms of reliability, especially under high operating temperatures, while manage to be less noisy compared to double ball bearings, which so far dominated in tough usage scenarios.
The Corsair ML 120 PRO RGB promises low noise output, not exceeding 25 dBA, since its maximum speed is restricted at 1600 RPM. I know this fan is not a new model, but since it is among the most popular on Amazon, I decided to review it and provide you with a full insight into its performance and noise output. I have the triple pack with the Lightning Node Pro in my hands, which currently costs 113 dollars on Amazon, so it is far from affordable. Besides the magnetic levitation bearing, the advanced RGB lighting is also responsible for the increased production cost.
The fan is currently out of stock in Corsair’s shop, and only one of its versions where available on Amazon, so there is a chance that Corsair will soon replace it with another model. Since this is one of the best-selling Corsair fans, it deserves a fully detailed review!
