be quiet! Silent Wings Pro 4 140mm Fan Review – Three Mode Silencer!

Epilogue

The be quiet! Silent Wings Pro 4 140mm offers good airflow and decent static pressure at full speed. However, in the normalized noise tests, its static pressure is not competitive, with SilverStone’s Shark Force 140mm leading the race in static pressure while achieving good airflow readings. Suppose you don’t want to exceed 30 dBA and are on a tight budget. In that case, the highly affordable Arctic P14 PWM PST Co is also a good choice, achieving similar static pressure to the Silent Wings Pro 4 and having slightly lower airflow (3 CFM difference). The key point of the Silent Wings Pro 4 is that it covers a wide operation range, from 374 to 2432 RPM in the UHS mode, while its power consumption is kept low. Moreover, I didn’t notice any issues like bearing noise at low and mid speeds, which can be annoying for sensitive users.

This is a high-end and expensive fan, but its rich bundle and the top-notch build quality justify the price tag. On the other hand, the lack of ARGB lighting might disappoint some users, who can look at the SilverStone Shark Force 140mm, which includes it in its features but costs even more than the already expensive be quiet! fan! There is no daisy chain option, which looks weird in a premium fan.

I will provide a recommendation badge for this product because of the high build quality and the dead silent operation at low and moderate speeds.

  1. So basically they lost in what was meant to be their niche of static pressure across the board to a cheaper rgb fan? 😂. Even more embarrassing is in Australia where these are about $65 aud where the shark’s have dropped to $25. Either way ur testing is invaluable for these more niche products especially, cheers.

  2. Hi!
Thanks for the very cool and high-quality reviews, no one else does that.

I want to ask you to test noctua nf-a14, a new generation model will be released in the 2024q1, it would be cool to compare
