XPG Valor Air Pro Chassis Review

Epilogue

The XPG Valor Air Pro is a well-balanced mid-tower that feels sturdy, looks refined, and offers excellent support for modern high-end components, all while remaining wallet-friendly. With room for E-ATX motherboards, 400mm GPUs, and up to nine fans or dual 360mm AIOs, it delivers the kind of flexibility we can appreciate.

The inclusion of four pre-installed ARGB fans, magnetic dust filters, and USB-C connectivity adds significant value, while thoughtful design touches, like flexible storage options, make assembly straightforward. Cable management could be tidier out of the box, but there’s plenty of space and anchor points to clean it up easily, with a standard 19mm of clearance behind the motherboard.

Still, it’s not without its shortcomings. The PSU dust filter could be easier to access, cable management space is somewhat tight, and the included fans use 3-pin connectors, limiting PWM control. There are also some minor touches missing, no grommets on cable passthroughs, and no built-in fan or RGB hub, which keep it from feeling fully premium.

That said, for around $90 USD, the Air Pro punches above its weight, though the competition is fierce. Other options include the popular Lian Li Lancool 207 (which has two fewer fans and no E-ATX support) and the NZXT H5 Flow, which we recently reviewed and is often on sale (though it includes only two pre-installed fans). Even so, the Valor Air Pro stands its ground.

This chassis is an excellent choice for anyone looking to build an ARGB system that combines high airflow, easy maintenance, and a timeless tower design with a clear, unobstructed view of the internal components.
