Build Experience
Building in the C70 case requires some forethought, despite its Midi-ATX classification, especially if you’re working with an E-ATX or ATX board, which fits very snugly, height being the primary constraint. The tight space at the bottom leaves little room for connectors and cables, forcing some, like the USB and HD Audio headers, to be routed awkwardly around the motherboard. On the upside, this bottom clearance issue makes room at the top for better cooling options.
The rest of the assembly is straightforward, aided by a combined fan and ARGB controller that helps streamline cabling, though it does require a SATA power connection. Using a BTF motherboard adds some constraints, as it forces you to sacrifice a drive bay and remove the HDD cage, or plan ahead and install the EPS cables before securing the motherboard. With the PSU and HDD cage installed, cable management becomes a tight squeeze, which is expected with such a compact and packed secondary chamber and a small-footprint build.
ARGB Lighting and Aesthetics
With six preinstalled ARGB fans and a dedicated ARGB hub, the Iota C70 provides vibrant, customizable lighting right out of the box. The dual tempered glass panels beautifully showcase your components and lighting effects, making creating a clean, visually striking setup easy.
