NZXT H5 Flow RGB (2024) Chassis Review

Epilogue

The updated H5 does not disappoint. This is a true NZXT product: affordable, premium-feeling, and well-designed. It’s a significant departure from the older design language, which was admittedly quite commonplace. The new side intake design, bringing the chassis down to floor level, ignites a new spark of interest. The tempered glass (tinted for the black-colored chassis) melts into the side of the chassis, and the new mesh design for the front and top panel elevates the chassis to a more upmarket feel.

However, a few downsides persist. More Velcro straps instead of zip ties would be appreciated. The I/O could use another USB port. The PSU enclosure might be challenging to clean due to the lack of any filters. While the mesh panels on the front, top, and rear offer some dust resistance, we weren’t able to thoroughly test their effectiveness within the scope of this review.

It faces stiff competition at its price point, but it stands its ground with strong aesthetics and practical features. The two included fans (or four, depending on how you count the F360) are a good start. The streamlined fan/ARGB wiring is a nice touch, and the inclusion of a rear fan helps round out the package. It feels less awkward than its larger sibling, the H7, which makes us even more curious to test the rest of the lineup revealed at Computex 2025.

Bottom line? For anyone building a refined, purpose-driven system with style and sensible airflow, the NZXT H5 Flow (2024) hits the mark. With NZXT currently promoting this case at $89.99, or the non-fan variant at $59.99, it’s an absolute no-brainer.
