Noise Damping/Output Results

Stock Fans Noise Output – LAeq/LZeq

At full speed, the noise from the stock fans in our system peaked at 33.4 dBA, a good result for maximum RPM.

Noise Output All Frequencies – LAeq/LZeq

Noise Damping Performance All Frequencies – LAeq/LZeq

At the very bottom of the tested frequency range (up to around 500Hz), the chassis didn’t perform exceptionally well at damping sound. However, this is less noticeable in practice, as lower frequencies are less irritating. Across the rest of the range, particularly through the mid frequencies, noise damping is impressive, showing excellent overall sound absorption.

Noise Damping Performance Chirp/Pink Noise – LAeq/LZeq

In this test, damping performance with both Chirp and Pink noise proved to be exceptional.

Noise Output Results – GPU

The chassis also performs well in terms of GPU fan noise. At 60% PWM, the recorded noise level was around 30 dBA, a perfectly acceptable level for this load.
