The Arctic Freezer 36 comes in various flavors, including native, black and white colors, RGB and non-RGB models. In today’s review I will put to the test one of them to see how it fares against competing offerings.
Arctic cooling is a strong player in the respective market, typically offering high-performance products at crazy low prices. Especially in the AIO market, this brand has made a significant impact. In today’s review, I will examine a compact, dimensionally small air cooler from this brand, the Arctic Freezer 36.
The Arctic Freezer 36 comes in various flavors:
- Freezer 36 A-RGB (White)
- Freezer 36 A-RGB (Black)
- Freezer 36 (Black)
- Freezer 36
- Freezer 36 CO
Since it features a dual-tower design, its outside fan will sit on top of the RAM modules, potentially causing compatibility issues with tall RAM heatspreaders. This is where single-tower coolers come in handy, but they cannot reach the performance of dual-tower ones, unless they use a special design (e.g., Cooler Master Hyper 612 Apex).

I quite like the easy fan installation, saves time and effort when cleaning and repasting the cpu. Thermalright is slightly ahead in value as always. Arctic could afford to slash price down a bit to compete in that range.
Excellent review as always 👏
