1st Player VT7 Chassis Review

The VT7 promises premium features on a budget. With its dual-chamber design, vibrant ARGB features, and solid hardware support, can it really deliver more than its price suggests? Let’s dive in and see what it’s made of.

The VT7 by 1st Player is the brand’s latest entry into the dual-chamber chassis market. This form factor remains relevant, with many of the cases we’ve reviewed over the past year falling into this category, such as the Montech King 95 Pro and the Corsair 6500X, 2500D, and others.

The VT7 is a budget-friendly option with a clear emphasis on airflow and GPU compatibility, supporting GPUs up to 440mm in length. The dual-chamber design enables cooling provisions on the front, top, side, bottom, and rear, with support for an arguably excessive number of fans. Additionally, the unit we reviewed came with four pre-installed ARGB fans to get you started. The large, single piece of metal spanning the top and front of the chassis is another showstopper.

The chassis offers a solid set of I/O options, a high-quality ARGB feature, and a nicely tinted tempered glass side panel. All panels are toolless, and dust filters are included on three of the five air intakes. It’s not without its shortcomings, though. Unfortunately, the expansion slots feature snap-off covers. The front and top lack dedicated air filtration, and there are no grommets to separate the two chambers effectively.
