The Seasonic Vertex PX-1000 is a Platinum certified unit, compatible with the ATX v3.0 spec. Thanks to its 1000W max power, and the 600W-set 12VHPWR cable, this unit is suitable for systems featuring a power-demanding GPU and CPU. Read the review to find out more!
The Seasonic Vertex PX-1000 will be included in my best ATX v3.x & PCIe 5.x PSU picks article.
Seasonic is well known in the PSU market and has a long history in the respective field. In this review, I will evaluate a member of the Vertex PX line with 1000W capacity, the Vertex PX-1000. This unit is Platinum certified in the Cybenetics scheme. Besides high efficiency, it also has a Cybenetics A noise rating, meaning that its average noise output is within 20-25 dBA, a pretty low level for a 1000W PSU. The unit uses a fully modular cable design, and its rich bundle is on par with the unit’s high price, which was set at 260 dollars during the review period. Seasonic PSUs are not affordable, but you should keep in mind that there are no shortcuts in PSUs. There is always a catch in low-priced units. I still remember the period when Gigabyte was trying to get rid of its problematic PSUs, practically giving them away.

I think fsp 1000w ti is still cheaper in my country and performs much better than this psu. I expected more from seasonic tbh.
Disappointing results from Seasonic here particularly from a new line up they advertised them for so long per https://seasonic.com/news/sea-sonic-to-launch-new-vertex/ here.
Thanks for the review ! Appreciate the 115V/230V detail in the Noise output section
I have to admit, I am quite disappointed with this PSU.
I got the PX-1200 model and the Corsair SF1000 (in case I could not manage to fit the Seasonic one in my lian A3-matx), and so far the corsair has been superior despite the lower capacity and form factor. In fact, the corsair is much quieter under low/medium loads, and under high loads, I can only hear my GPU anyway.
Protection features are also quite disappointing with this Vertex series, and efficiency is just marginally higher than the gold certified version
To sum it up, the Corsair SF1000 has been, at least for me:
– quieter
– cheaper
– MUCH less bulky
– ATX 3.1 compliant
