Epilogue
As I mentioned in the higher-capacity models of the line, MSI’s new A-GLS line successfully addresses the central issue of the A-GL line, which was the increased noise output resulting from aggressive fan speed profiles. At the same time, MSI attempted to lower production costs by avoiding the use of expensive parts, thereby offering the A-GLS units at affordable prices. Although I don’t have any price information yet, I am confident that MSI will adopt a highly aggressive pricing strategy to drive high sales of these new PSUs.
MSI selected two OEMs for this line, with CWT handling the two higher-capacity models, while Huntkey manufactures the 750W and 650W models. This is why the 1000W and 850W models have even more relaxed fan speed profiles than the 750W and 650W units. In any case, the A-GLS PSUs focus on lowering noise output while keeping decent performance levels, and all these, without breaking the bank.
Unfortunately, I don’t have a street price at the time of the review for any of the A-GLS models, which would enable me to judge their performance-to-price ratio accurately. However, MSI is likely to offer it at a highly competitive price to compete with other popular offerings in this category, especially the ones provided by Corsair. The A750GLS offers a similar overall performance to the A750GL, and it manages to take the performance lead from the Corsair RM750e. The 12V rail’s transient response is decent at high loads, load regulation is within 1% on all primary rails, ripple suppression is good enough, the hold-up time exceeds 17ms, the inrush currents are low, and the platform is efficient. The significant issues are the increased conducted EMI emissions, the protection feature settings on the minor rails, and I also don’t like the two EPS connectors on the same cable, since these connectors can draw lots of power so a single cable for both can lead to problems.

Yello, I’m in India and only have two same priced PSU options: MSI MAG A750GL and Deepcool PN750M, everything else is priced at 1.5 to 2 times these psu. They are almost identical units, but I’m still confused which to get. Which would you suggest?
