Average Noise
The PSU’s average noise output is low at both voltage inputs. We will see below why the 230V fan speed profile is more aggressive than the 115V one, while it should be the other way around.

The semi-passive mode doesn’t last long, as you can see in the fan speed chart, but the PSU’s noise remains 10 dBA at up to 430W loads at 12V and below 20 dBA at up to 570W on the same rail. With more than 730W at 12V, the fan’s noise is within the 25-30 dBA region, and the 30 dBA mark is passed with more than 820W, but the over 30 dBA noise region isn’t that large.

The 230V fan noise profile is a bit more aggressive, mostly at high loads, where the over 30 dBA region lasts longer, while the 25-30 dBA region is smaller. The fan’s passive operation lasts a bit longer at 230V, but the below 10 dBA region at 115V is larger.
