Box & Bundle
When I received this sample, it didn’t come with the retail box, so I only had to show you a photo of the provided cables.

This is the typical DeepCool PSU design, with the weird-looking fan grille with large openings allowing for good airflow. The PSU’s dimensions are compact enough, given its max power, thanks to the 160mm length. At its front size, besides the power switch, you will also find the hybrid mode button for toggling on/off the fan’s semi-passive operation. The PX1300P doesn’t use a heavy-duty IEC 60320 C-20 AC receptacle but a plain C14 one because it shares the same casing with the 1000W model. And the tooling for making two different PSU cases doesn’t come cheap.

Plenty of cables and connectors are provided, including two high-power cables set at 600W each. The first takes power from a pair of 2x 8pin sockets, while the other is through a 12VHPWR header, at least in my sample, which was manufactured in Q2 2023. CWT might have updated the 12+4 pin headers on the newer production batches to 12V-2×6. This will be a silent upgrade, though.
It’s such a shame that such a good and expensive PSU is hampered by a silly fan profile.
This figure looks like some sort of torture device.
I want to ask, if the starting 1k RPM (30-35dBA) is the same even with the semi-passive mode turned off?… If so, than it is really silly.
