[115V] There is no semi-passive operation, but this is not a problem if the fan spins at low speeds under light loads. The fan remains quiet in this unit at up to 75W at 12V. With more power at 12V and up to 300W, the fan’s noise is within 20-25 dBA. The 30 dBA mark is passed at 400W (12V), while with more than 530W on this rail, the noise goes over 35 dBA; with more than 680W, it is in the 40-45 dBA range.
