The average noise output is higher than 30 dBA, but compared to most 1200W offerings, the PSU performs relatively well in this section.
Fan Noise & Speed Maps @ 28-32 °C
[115V] There is no semi-passive operation, but the fan spins at low RPMs, 400-450, until 560W, so its noise output remains below 6 dBA. From 560W to 660W, noise is below 20 dBA; until 730W, it is below 25 dBA. The 30 dBA mark is passed at 790W; from 895W and above, it is in the 35-45 dBA range.
