OCP is set high at 12V and extra-high on the minor rails, which should be close to 130%. There is no need for close to 33A at 3.3V. OPP is also pretty highly set, with the PSU operating at normal temperatures, but thankfully, it drops below 130% at high temperatures. Lastly, all other necessary protection features are present.

While waiting for the new Cooler Master X MIGHTI i bought an Antec NeoEco NE1300GM and it is exactly the same Helly Technology platform.
For the price I paid I think it is excellent. I must also point out that the Galax HOF GH1300 is also exactly the same Helly Technology platform as the 1st player NGDP 1300, the Antec NeoEco NE1300GM, and the Lian Li edge 1300, but the galax costs in Europe almost 3 times the price of the Antec.
I attach a photo of the internal galax.

850w 1st player is helly tec but not the same platform of 1000w and 1300w.
Antec NE1000G is the same platform of 1st player 1000w
Antec ne1300gm is the same platform of 1st player NGDP 1300w, GALAX HOF GH1300W, LIAN LI edge 1300w
Looking at review at some Russian site, it says that cooler is Dongguan Honghua Electronic Technology HA1225M12F-Zb like in gold 3.1 psu
Did 1st player change model of fan installed in psu?

Yes, after I told them to do so.
they most likely did, after my review.
Hey,
I was searching information about the Antec Neo Eco NE1000G M and looks like they use the OEM (Helly Technology). Antec even has a 1300W version too, like 1stplayer does, so it may be based in the same platform than this PSU, do you know if this information is true?
I bought the Antec one as i was in need of a compact PSU, plus got it pretty cheap (Less than 160USD). I was worried about the quality of the PSU as i couldn’t find any proper review of it, but reading this one and the price i paid, if the OEM is Helly Technology i think i made a good decision.
The Antec one uses a FDB fan tho, should i be worried for the fans as you said ”fluid dynamic is less tolerant to heat.” or about the FETs?
Thank you very much!
I am not sure if it uses the same platform as this one, because I don’t have close relations with Antec.
Helly proved to be a good OEM so far. FDB fans are ok for normal use.
Hi crmaris i can provide you with some photos for antec as i have it but i think it is build on the platinum build , i would be grateful if you you can help as i am a beginner in psu reviews :]

What exactly does the red button next to the on off button do? Is it better pressed down or not?
It is for for the fan-stop operation. I would keep the fan constantly in operation.
Based off Yate Loon’s nomenclature isn’t that model of fan ball bearing instead of FDB?
Let me double-check that.
