Raijintek’s First Leap Into Keyboards: The MGA-68

A Closer Look

Physically, the MGA-68 exudes a level of craftsmanship usually reserved for boutique boards or premium enthusiast models.

The CNC-machined aluminum case gives the keyboard a dense, solid feel, weighing over 1.2 kg, and the brushed finish is smooth, refined, and fingerprint-resistant.

A subtle wedge shape raises the rear slightly, enhancing ergonomics without relying on flip-out feet. The keycaps, made of high-quality PBT plastic, are pleasantly textured and tall enough to preserve the classic mechanical feel. The south-facing RGB lighting is vibrant without being overwhelming, diffused nicely through the sub-opaque legends.

Despite being designed with performance in mind, the MGA-68 doesn’t scream “gaming gear.” There are no aggressive logos, neon color schemes, or complex multimedia knobs. The understated elegance of the case and layout might fool some into thinking it’s a high-end productivity keyboard, and in many ways, it is.

Yet beneath that minimalist exterior lies a robust gaming engine, with one of the fastest polling rates and most advanced switch technologies currently available in consumer keyboards. Although it may not offer macro keys or a media control wheel, its core performance more than compensates.
