Installation
Typically, the installation is easy if you follow the instructions, which unfortunately are not provided in electronic form but through a small-sized manual. Typically, the installation on the Intel LGA 1700 socket is more complicated than the AM5 socket because you have to keep in place the backplate while you do the screws. Moreover, you have to remove the center fan to have access to these screws, but this is a straightforward procedure, as it is to put it back in place. There isn’t a long Philips screwdriver in the bundle, so you have to make sure you have one available to install the cooler.
To use the matrix digital display, connect the cooler’s USB cable to one of your mainboard’s headers. The only issue is that this cable is pretty short, so if you want to route it properly and hide it, you may encounter compatibility problems with some mainboards. You also need to download and install the corresponding software.
