Corsair iCUE H170i Elite LCD XT AIO Review

The Corsair iCUE H170i Elite LCD XT is a super expensive and highly capable AIO, able to easily beat the best air coolers, even under the noise same output.

At more than 300 dollars, the Corsair iCUE H170i Elite LCD XT is not affordable. You pay a lot not only for the top-quality fans and the high build quality but also for the included lighting and PWM hub, and of course, the top cover of the block, with the LCD screen attached. Its 2.1″ IPS display has 480×480 resolution; you can configure what you want it to show.

To control every aspect of the AIO, you can use Corsair’s iCUE, which offers plenty of capabilities, but sometimes, it can confuse users through its vast amount of options.

Because of the large surface of the block, AMD’s Threadripper processors are also supported. This cooler is ideal for power-hungry CPUs. Moreover, the AF RGB Elite fans have enough static pressure to remove the heat from the radiator effectively.

  1. >Speaking of the climate chamber, another myth is that considering the delta difference between the CPU’s temperature and the ambient temperature, you don’t need to worry so much about the room temperature. Well, so far, my experience with the climate chamber proved quite the opposite,

Could you elaborate on this? I’ve always considered that delta T is roughly comparable, say a delta T of 40 degrees is roughly the same whether your ambient is 20 or 30. Thanks!
