Sound Measurements
Before measuring the DUT, we must ensure proper placement on the measuring device. The manufacturer suggests taking five measurements on each side to ensure no major dissimilarities occur. If we see any abnormalities, we must stop, reposition the DUT, and restart.
It is also important to mention that 1/48 smoothing (the lowest possible on REW) has been applied across all graphs. In addition, special attention was paid to keeping the graphs within the same dB range
SPL and Distortion Levels:
The sound profile is quite neutral, with less emphasis on heavy bass, which most headphones nowadays prioritize. This neutrality enhances detail and clarity across the entire frequency range, ensuring the music or audio content is faithfully reproduced.
While closed-back headphones can provide better isolation from external noise, they can also lead to discomfort over time if the bass is too pronounced. This is because prolonged exposure to strong bass can be physically tiring for the ears and head. A more relaxed bass response helps avoid excessive bass emphasis.
