The transient response is mediocre at 12V because the applied load stresses this low-capacity PSU. On the other hand, the minor rails behave well in these tests.

Transient Response ATX v3.1 Tests

This PSU doesn’t have a high-power PCIe connector, so the maximum transient loads are restricted to 150%. The PSU passes all ATX v3.1 transient response tests with flying colors! For those of you wondering why, in the 150% test, the 12V rail’s deviation is lower than at 145%. The difference between these load levels is low at just 5%. On the other hand, the 145% transient load lasts much longer (10x more), applying higher stress to the PSU.

I won’t provide any comparison ATX v3.1 transient response tests in this review because all other SFX PSUs I have evaluated so far were tested at different transient loads because they have high-power connectors (12V-2×6 or 12VHPWR).
