Seasonic Focus GX-750 V4 ATX v3.1 PSU Review

Efficiency Normal, Light & Super-Light Loads

Efficiency is satisfactory at normal loads but not that high at light loads. Lastly, the PSU passes 70% efficiency with a 2% load, which the ATX v3.1 spec recommends.

Average Efficiency

The average efficiency meets the Cybenetics Gold requirements at 115V and 230V input.

Average PF

The APFC converter needs tuning for higher power factor readings.

Average Efficiency 5VSB

It would be nice if the 5VSB rail’s average efficiency exceeded 80% at 230V.

Vampire Power

Vampire power should be lower at 230V.

  1. Any news about the 750w protection features?

I think you were right and a lot of people who read your review are wondering if the retail 750w model should be considered when making a purchase.

Thanks a lot for all the amazing work.

  2. Would you consider testing the Super Flower Zillion FG ATX3.1/PCIe 5.0 power supplies? I’ve recently stumbled across them as they are currently on sale and was wondering if they were good.
