Average Noise
The PSU’s average noise output is low.
Fan Noise & Speed Maps @ 28-32 °C – 115V
There is no semi-passive mode, but the fan’s speed is kept low at light and moderate loads, so the PSU’s noise doesn’t exceed 20 dBA at up to 520W. The 30 dBA mark is passed at around 895W, so you must push the PSU hard to make its fan audible.
Fan Noise & Speed Maps @ 28-32 °C – 230V
At 230V input, the 30 dBA operation range is way smaller than 115V.
