The Endorfy Supremo FM6 1000W has a high performance per price ratio, and it is made by SAMA, an OEM that so far only dealed with highly affordable platforms.
The Endorfy Supremo FM6 1000W is (or will be) included in my best ATX v3.x & PCIe 5.x PSU picks article.
Endorfy is doing well in all product areas it is enrolled in, and if it continues at the same pace, I am confident that soon enough, it will be in the high-end brand club. The recent addition to its PSU product portfolio is the Supremo line, which consists of two members with 1000W and 850W max power. The first is certified by Cybenetics, but the latter hasn’t been tested yet. The Supremo FM6 1000W has a Cybenetics Platinum efficiency rating and a Cybenetics A noise rating, meaning it has a silent operation. The PSU is also ATX v3.1 certified. Thanks to the only 140mm depth, the PSU’s dimensions are compact, and the OEM is SAMA. I usually meet this OEM in cheap PSUs, so it is a pleasant surprise to see SAMA entering the high-end market. I cannot know if this PSU is SAMA’s design (probably not), but the fact is that SAMA produces it, and it is offered at a reasonable price. Usually, big OEMs like CWT and Great Wall have increased production costs, so having a cost-effective and high-end product is not easy. This is why Endorfy went to SAMA, but the fact is that SAMA’s production line is not as good as CWT’s or GW’s. This can affect performance and reliability in the long run, and above all, affect quality control. A lower operation cost is good, but it has disadvantages that you cannot avoid. Essential features like long-hours burn-in and individual testing of every product on ATE systems don’t come cheap.
