Endorfy Supremo FM6 1000W ATX v3.1 PSU Review

Box & Bundle

The box, at least the one I had for my review sample, is plain without any fancy graphics. I don’t care about the package’s graphics, but I only care about the protection it provides to the product. Internally, bubble wrap is used to protect the PSU. I prefer packing foam.

Product Photos

The PSU has compact dimensions and a plain design. Only the fan with the specially designed sawtooth blades stands out. At the front are the AC receptacle and the power switch. Since this unit has no fan-stop feature, there is no semi-passive switch. This is not bad. It is better for the fan to spin at low speeds under light loads, preventing heat build-up at the PSU’s internals.

The modular panel around the back includes eleven sockets, one of which is of the 12V-2×6 type.

Cables

Modular Cables
Description Cable Count Connector Count (Total) Gauge In Cable Capacitors
ATX connector 24 pin (600mm) 1 1 18-20AWG No
4+4 pin EPS12V (710mm) 2 2 18AWG No
6+2 pin PCIe (560mm) 3 3 18AWG No
12+4 pin PCIe (605mm) (600W) 1 1 16-22AWG No
SATA (560mm+155mm+155mm) 2 6 18AWG No
SATA (560mm+160mm) / 4-pin Molex (+160mm) 1 2 / 1 18AWG No
AC Power Cord (1380mm) – C13 coupler 1 1 18AWG

The PSU has enough cables and connectors to deliver its full power smoothly. It has two EPS, three legacy PCIe, and a single 12V-2×6 set at 600W. There are enough SATA connectors, but only a single 4-pin Molex. This connector type is no longer popular so that I won’t complain. The cables are long enough, and the distance between the peripheral connectors is adequate.
